Weekend in Pictures: Scott's Birthday!
Scott turned 26 this weekend! We spent most of our time celebrating... if you know Scott, his birthday is the most important day of the year ("it's 1 out of 365 days, Geeg!"). We had an awesome weekend with friends and family, and had a few major bathroom updates ;)... you'll see them later this week! Here's our weekend in pictures (and a GIF thanks to my sister Molly!)...

Bathroom Make-over!!! (Part 1)
I am SO excited to share my completed bathroom make-over!
This is our first floor powder room before. Complete with sunshine yellow counters, sink, and toilet when we moved in, we said it would be one of the first things we needed to re-do. Somehow here we are two years later and it is just finally getting done. I mean really, look at the before- it's A.W.F.U.L.

My Everyday Make-up
My everyday make-up routine has evolved over the years. When I was younger (we're talking middle school), it consisted of Lip Smacker's Cotton Candy lip gloss, black under-eye liner, and clumpy mascara. Obviously it was a pretty good look.
Over the years I went through glitter eye-shadow phases, using just concealer for my face, pressed powders, loose powders... you name it. In college I started to figure out what suited my skin and overall look the best, and I would say in the past two years or so, this has become my everyday routine. It may look like a long list, but I have it down to about 10 minutes and 30 seconds (normally on a Monday morning after hitting snooze a few times).

Weekend in Pictures: Easter!
Such a gorgeous weekend! I had Friday off (the best weekends start with having Friday off) and got a bunch done around the house. Scott and I made Terriyaki Turkey Meatballs (recipe coming soon!) Friday night.

Planning a Wedding? 9 Things I Wish I Knew
I absolutely loved our wedding, every part of it (maybe I will do a post about it in the future)! They say hindsight is 20/20 and, looking back, there were a few things I would have done differently. These are not changes to my wedding, but things that would have helped the planning process to run a bit smoother. Some of my friends are engaged or soon will be, so I put together a list of 9 things I wish I knew from the start.

There's an App for That: MyFitnessPal Review
An app I have been loving on my iPhone is MyFitnessPal. It helps you keep track of your daily food intake and exercise.

#1. Take a Hot Yoga Class
My awesome friend Melissa helped me cross this one off the list! We found a deal on LivingSocial (thank you, Jackie!) for 5 bikram yoga classes at a studio near us. We actually completed this over a month ago, but here is a recap I wrote right after...

DIY Chalkboard Calendar
I am a little OCD about calendars and crossing things off (I'm not sure why, but I freaking love crossing things off)! I cross out each day in my planner, 3 calendars at work, and my calendar at home (okay typing that out makes me sound crazy...)
